Hours and Directions
Afternoon Meal -- served from 3:15pm to 4:45pm
Shelter -- Guests admitted 9:00pm to 9:30pm -- Guests leave 6:00am
Dorothy Day Hospitality House is located at 11 Spring Street. The kitchen is in the building right next to the street. The shelter is in a separate building behind the kitchen. There is a driveway next to the kitchen which leads to the shelter
Directions to 11 Spring Street
From I84E
Take Exit 5
Continue straight past stop sign at the end of the ramp
Proceed down hill and turn right at light next to Mobil station onto Main
Street
Turn right at 3rd light next to Subway shop onto Kennedy Avenue
Continue through stoplight as the road bends to the left and make 2nd right
onto Spring Street (about 50 yards after light) just after KGJ Auto Repair.
Dorothy Day is about 50 yards down Spring Street on the right hand side.

Turn right at light at bottom of ramp onto Main Street
Turn right at 4td light next to Subway shop onto Kennedy Avenue
Continue through stoplight as the road bends to the left and make 2nd right

From Bethel (heading north on Main St in Danbury)
Turn left at West Street (at Danbury library)
Turn right at 1st light onto New Street (at First Congregational Church)
Turn left at 2nd street onto Spring St (just before KGJ Auto Repair)
Dorothy Day is about 50 yards down Spring Street on the right hand side
